The Australian Drag Boat Association Ltd is a not-for-profit public company limited by guarantee, established to support and develop drag boat racing in Australia. Our committee and officials are dedicated to promoting a unified, ethical, and safe future for participants within ADBA-sanctioned competition.

Core functions:

Sanction Events & Championships

We oversee the conduct of ADBA-sanctioned drag boat events and the championship series.

Establish & Enforce Rules

We publish and maintain the ADBA Rulebook, outlining technical specifications and competition procedures for ADBA-sanctioned racing.

Licensing & Administration

We administer the Competition Boat Log Book (CBLB) and require annual membership for drivers participating in events run under ADBA rules.

Safety & Training

We apply required safety procedures for our events, including scrutineering, event briefings, and a comprehensive Risk Management Plan.
